| Spring Networking Event
| | As we prepare for our annual conference, OPEN Forum 2011, we invite you to join us for our Spring Quarterly Networking Event, where you will get to meet with fellow entrepreneurs, professionals and leaders from across the Silicon Valley. We will also be joined by Dr. Erfa Iqbal, IT advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Bring a friend along for free! Dr. Erfa Iqbal, has been Staff Officer to the Prime Minister of Pakistan since 2008. She manages and coordinates the Prime Minister’s development program addressing religious extremism by improving the social and economic conditions in the poorest regions. She is currently visiting U.S. as an Eisenhower Fellow. She will be making a stop in SF Bay area primarily to interact with the Pakistani diaspora. Please come to network and participate in Q&A with Dr. Erfa Iqbal. This will be the last networking opportunity for the OPEN SV community before OPEN Forum 2011. - $15 - Non-members

| | April Mentorship Breakfast Event - Arif Janjua | | OPEN Silicon Valley Monthly Breakfasts provide a terrific opportunity for entrepreneurs and industry professionals to meet with experts in their respective field, in a relaxed, informal setting, to build relationships and get valuable Business and Career feedback. Participants deliver an elevator pitch for 30 to 60 seconds, and the guest mentor provides immediate feedback, enabling fast, effective, accessible mentoring and relationship development. The topic will be “An insider’s view into Management Consulting”. Arif Janjua is a Partner and Managing Director in the San Francisco office of The Boston Consulting Group. He received his Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Windsor, Canada, and has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Arif has over 30 years experience in operational management and consulting in the high technology and services related industries. Arif’s areas of expertise includes technology and business strategy formulation, value based portfolio analysis, new products and services rollout and complex implementation programs.
